Let it Snow, Let it Snow

I have been warned by my friend here that my daughter (@ 20 months) is too young to enjoy Snowy Mountains. Since my husband and I wanted to go this year and are willing to “adjust” to Amelie’s “special” requirements during the trip, we still went.

Knowing how it takes time for Amelie to adjust to a new environment and see new faces (we were with 3 other families then), I wasn’t surprised that she didn’t like the snow and mingling with the other kids very much. She howled and cried when I put on her thick winter gear and boots. She didn’t even want to wear her mittens and bonnet.

So most of the time when on the snow, we gave in to what she wanted. But overall, we had a nice time (bitin lang talaga). :) We will definitely visit again hopefully next year? Here’s a few of our icey photos.

This is the road that links Snowy Mountains to Talbingo, where we stayed.

More of Tumut Shire.

We didn’t have the chance to take more family pics while on Snowy Mountains so hours before we drove home, we had a quick stop-over for this.

    hey! nice family pic! ;-)

kids in tokyo usually have windburned cheeks in winter. their sensitive skin just can’t take the harshness of the cold air. take care!

Lovely family pic with the snowy background. :) That should be a relief. Everywhere else in the globe, it’s literally humid.
