Inspired by the Weekend Snapshot photo meme, I would like to start blogging every Monday about the past weekend no matter how mundane or eventful it was. So for my first entry, here goes:

Yesterday, we were rushing off to go to church. As soon as we reached the gates, both R and I were surprised to see that they were all closed! Then, we looked at each other and said “The church activity is today!!”

We called our friends and managed to get the address to the Carrs Bush Reserve. It was breezy and cold when we got there. Amelie was wearing a skirt and me, khaki pants! We were not prepared for the church’s family day. Everyone else were in their most comfortable wear, jogging pants and shorts.

Nonetheless, we stayed for a while. We mingled with our church mates and eventually left after an hour because it was getting too chilly. Amelie had her jumper on but her legs and hands are getting cold while Ron and I forgot to leave our sweaters in the car.

We liked the park. It is nicer than the one that’s near our apartment. It would be nice to invite some friends, bring over food and have a small “barbie” (barbeque) there. As for Amelie, as usual, she enjoyed running around non-stop!

One way of keeping her occupied while in the car is to let her play with my or her dad’s mobile phone.
